Shirataniso History and Folklore Museum
This 250-year-old thatched-roof house is registered as a tangible cultural property by the Agency for Cultural Affairs. Yoshitsune's Hiding Rock
It is a rock about 1.7m high and 2m wide, located on the lakeshore just before Kaizu Osaki. It is said that Yoshitsune passed through this area when he was fleeing to Hiraizumi in Oshu after being pursued by his brother Yoritomo. It is not known whether Yoshitsune hid in this rock or not...
