Ozuka Tomb Group
Built in the first half of the 5th century, it is one of the largest circular tumuli built on flat land in the prefecture, with a diameter of 80m and a height of 7m. Although it is not faithfully constructed, there is a legend that it is the tomb of King Shioyaki, who died during the Emi no Oshikatsu (Fujiwara no Nakamaro) Rebellion (764).

Yoshitsune's Hiding Rock
It is a rock about 1.7m high and 2m wide, located on the lakeshore just before Kaizu Osaki. It is said that Yoshitsune passed through this area when he was fleeing to Hiraizumi in Oshu after being pursued by his brother Yoritomo. It is not known whether Yoshitsune hid in this rock or not...
