Important Cultural Landscape Facility "Omizo Jinya Main Gate"
The main gate of Omizo Jin'ya is the only surviving building related to the Jin'ya, and is a valuable cultural asset. Currently, it serves as the "Omizo Townscape Information Center," an information center for the Takashima and Omizo area, and also sells Omizo Castle seals and castle cards.
The restoration work will be completed and the facility will reopen on April 2024, 4. New features will include an exhibition space for local cultural assets, and an introductory video that recreates Omizo Castle using CG footage, "Reviving Omizo Castle - The Water Castle Built by Oda Nobunaga" (approximately 1 minutes), which will be shown from time to time, making it a space that tourists and history fans can feel free to drop by.
