Regarding use of photos

According to the shrine's legend, this is an ancient shrine that was already in existence during the time of Emperor Tenchi, and the three princess gods of Haraedo are enshrined in the main hall. The site is a sacred area with clear and scenic views of three rivers, the Chiuchi River (old Okawa), the Ikugi River, and the Momose River, facing a beach of white sand and green pines, with views of Mt. Ibuki, Mt. Unzen, and Chikubushima to the east. It was an ancient river shrine where purification rites were held as the enshrined place of the gods of Haraedo. Since ancient times, this shrine has been called Sanko Myojin because of its crest of the sun, moon, and star. It is affectionately known as "Kawasuso-san" and is known for its benefits such as safe childbirth and illnesses below the surface. Ebisu, one of the Nishiomi Seven Lucky Gods, is also enshrined here. The god of good fortune who brings a large catch of fish, is believed to be a god of good luck, good fortune, and prosperous business. The Ebisu deity at Karasaki Shrine is a side deity who is characterized by the appearance of holding a large sea bream in both hands. The "Kawasode Festival" is held every year on the fourth Sunday of July.
