Located in Omi-Imazu on the west side of Lake Biwa, this restaurant specializes in eel and river fish dishes. The restaurant is proud of its Kansai-style grilled eel, which is fragrantly grilled over charcoal using a sauce that has been handed down for many years. Meals include eel dishes such as "Hitsumamushi," which can be enjoyed in three different ways, "unaju," and "steamed in a bamboo steamer." In addition, the store sells "eel chazuke," which is lightly grilled eel slowly simmered with Japanese pepper, Omi-style tsukudani (simmered sweetfish, shrimp, and gourd), as well as sweet-simmered dishes and side dishes.
