This roadside station is located in the Makino area of Takashima City, a tourist resort full of nature, with the cherry blossoms of Kaizu Osaki in spring, camping and swimming at Sunny Beach in summer, hiking in autumn, hot springs and skiing in winter, and the Metasequoia Avenue, a popular tourist spot all year round. If you head south from Fukui on National Route 1, you will find this roadside station at a pass where you can see Lake Biwa for the first time. Relax in this quiet pass surrounded by mountains. We are proud of our fresh locally grown vegetables, specialty products, rice flour bread, and freshly made authentic soba noodles.

Access: From JR Makino Station, take the bus (Border Line) for about 12 minutes, or the bus (Makino Kogen Line) for about 9 minutes, and get off at the "Makino Oisaka Toge Roadside Station" stop.
