This hot spring is located at the foot of a quiet mountain, about 1km north of the Makino Highlands Makino Ski Resort. It is a high-quality natural radium spring that is effective against rheumatism, arteriosclerosis, and high blood pressure, and is designated as one of the leading therapeutic hot springs in the Kinki region. There are also open-air baths, Buna-no-yu, Sakura-no-yu, and a private bath (Tsubaki-no-yu). You can also stay overnight and enjoy seasonal kaiseki cuisine.
