Regarding use of photos

The colony of skunk cabbage is a natural masterpiece created by the underground waters of Aiban. The skunk cabbage is a perennial plant of the Araceae family. Its large purple-brown spathe resembles the halo of a Buddha statue, and the yellow flower inside represents a monk, and its name is said to come from its resemblance to a monk sitting in meditation. They bloom every year from mid-February to March, heralding the arrival of spring in the Kosai region. A place where they grow in such large numbers is extremely rare even within the prefecture, and on August 2, 3, the area was designated as a Shiga Prefecture green space conservation area.
