From the campsite "Mori no Kakurega" on Makino Highlands, walk along the forest road lined with Yoshino cherry trees for about 30 minutes and you will soon arrive at Choshoga Falls. The slope is gentle enough that people of all ages and genders can walk safely. The 18m-long waterfall and the surrounding forest are soothing throughout the four seasons, but spring and autumn are especially recommended. It is also a perfect course for Nordic walking and snowshoes in the winter. Both can be rented at Makino Highlands.
