Regarding use of photos

"Before the god of white beard, I will give birth to a son. When I marry him, I will be purified."
The stone monument in the grounds of Shirahige Shrine is the work of Tekkan and Akiko, the husband and wife duo who were leading poets of the "Myojo" school. Yosano Tekkan was born in 6 at Ganjoji Temple in Kyoto, and aspired to a career in poetry from a young age. He married Akiko and published many anthologies of poetry. Akiko was born in 11, and published her works in magazines such as "Myojo," and one of her most famous anthologies is "Midaregami." The meaning of the poem engraved on the stone monument at Shirahige Shrine is typical of husband and wife singing together, and it stands facing Lake Biwa, fitting for a shrine visited by Shirahige pilgrims who pray for long life.
