Kaizu Osaki

  The Somei-Yoshino cherry trees are over 80 years old and are so beautiful and gorgeous that one anecdote is that a famous painter once stopped painting in the spring. From early to mid-April, about 4 of them come into full bloom, creating a splendid atmosphere that stretches for 800km. The view from the lakeshore, which is unique to Kaizu, is also popular. As a famous late-blooming cherry blossom spot in the Kinki region, the area is crowded with many flower-viewing visitors every year.

Metasequoia Namiki

  A tree-lined road with about 2.4 trees stretching for about 500 km. The beautiful scenery changes with the seasons, with new buds and greenery in spring, deep green in summer, autumn leaves in fall, and snowy scenery in winter, attracting visitors. At the adjacent agricultural park, Makino Pickland, you can experience harvesting seasonal fruits. There is also a restaurant and cafe on the premises, so you can enjoy a meal.

Makino Plateau

  A total of about 1000 double-flowered cherry trees, Oshima cherry trees, and Yoshino cherry trees were planted in the upper part of the Makino Plateau in 58. Each type of cherry blossom blooms at a different time, so you can enjoy cherry blossom viewing over a long period of time.
