This course has relatively few ups and downs and goes through rows of metasequoia trees, the beautiful white sand and green pines of the lakeside pine forests of Kosai, and mountain forests where you can see the natural beauty of the four seasons. It is a course that even beginners can run on with confidence.

We are greeted by a forest filled with water on the west side of Lake Biwa, with a fantastical atmosphere that makes you feel like you might encounter fairies. Runners run through a lush forest of cedars and beech trees with a view of Lake Biwa.

Approximately 2,500 people will participate in the race, which will take them through the Metasequoia Tree Line and the Chiriuchi River Cycling Road, creating a thrilling drama as they cycle through nature, surrounded by pleasant greenery.
